Reflection: 13 Years of Collaboration.
 Inspired by journeys to Africa and beyond, Seattle artists Jenny Pohlman and Sabrina Knowles collaborate on unique and embellished glass sculpture that captures history, beauty, cultural diversity, and spirit. The exhibit features large-scale installations.

Workshop: Introduction to Digital Photography with Rob Prout and Ron Olson.   A basic introduction to digital photography including resolution, image capture, software for image manipulation, print settings, storage, organization, and more.

Traditional Chinese Painting with Chen Lin (chair of the Art Department, Anhui University, Anhui Province, China). Free lecture on traditional Chinese painting, both ancient and contemporary. 7 pm, YVCC.

Workshop with Chen Lin. An introduction to both traditional fine-line and contemporary free-form Chinese painting techniques.

OCT 30-DEC 10
50th Annual Central Washington Artists Exhibition.

Carol Hassen Retrospective
Larson Gallery director Carol Hassen exhibits paintings, drawings, and collages reflecting the other half of her life.

Eidetic Variations / Central Core by Richard C. Elliott.
 In a series of 185 inkjet prints, variations of radiant geometric pattern are investigated as fundamental patterns of energy. Additionally, 85 reflective paintings will be included, exploring the core of eidetic variations.

 State high school students compete for juried awards.

34th National Juried Photography Exhibition.
