Larson Gallery Guild Members’ Arts & Crafts Exhibition

DATES: June 18 – July 10, 2010

Larson Gallery hosts the annual Larson Gallery Guild Members’ Arts & Crafts Exhibition opening on Friday, June 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. All works in the show have been created by current Larson Gallery Guild members.

Artworks in this year’s show feature a variety of media including acrylic, oil, ink and mixed media work, in addition to bronze sculpture, fiber and wearable art.

A total of 97 professional and amateur artists and craftspeople are included in this non-juried show; among the artists are: John Barany, Bob Fisher, Sally Fitch, Sue Grimshaw, Carol Hassen, Richard Nicksic and Jeff Reynolds.

The Larson Gallery Guild Members’ Arts & Crafts Exhibitionprovides an opportunity for Guild members to share their creative interests, skills and ideas not only with each other but with the public as well. This annual exhibition is one of many perks that benefit Gallery Guild members. Memberships begin at $20.00 and benefits vary depending on the membership level.

Larson Gallery Guild members assist and promote the Larson Gallery’s juried exhibitions, art events, artist lectures, and fund-raising. The Guild directly supports exhibition costs, hosts opening receptions, funds school outreach programs and guest lectures, and provides salaries for Gallery staff. Larson Gallery Guild is a non-profit organization and membership support facilitates free admission to the public for all exhibitions, including the Members’ Arts & Crafts Exhibition.

This exhibition continues through July 10, 2009 in Larson Gallery, 16th Avenue and Nob Hill. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 am–5:00pm and Saturday 1-5pm.
