Featuring the artwork from Goathead Press. Exhibit runs 3PM-8PM with an artist’s talk at 7PM.
“Goathead Press” is a printmaking studio, located in the Mighty Tieton warehouse. It is a cooperative project run by Fay Jones.
Karen Quint, Robert Jones and Kerry Quint. Its purpose is to provide a workspace for artists in the immediate community and to provide a rentable workspace for artists who wish to work on independent projects.
In its brief existence “Goathead Press” has published a portfolio of prints made by artists and nonartists in the Mighty Tieton community, initiated, organized, and installed a “Tieton Print Arts Invitational Exhibition” that included over 100 prints from the Northwest and from Mexico, hosted artists in residence, and run weekend workshops in monoprinting, basic etching, and photocopy lithography. It is an efficient and pleasant work space whose purpose is to encourage good and innovative work.
