T. A. Harris works to achieve a sense of mystery in his paintings: mystery meaning that not everything needs to be stated through the appearances of the material world but acts through sidelong glances and calculated indirection to guide the eye to a more complex place combining thought, perception and symbology. He aims to challenge, not simply to make pleasing and easy going wall decor.
