Kids React! Art Show

Showing: December 13th-20th, 2025

You can see art made by famous artists like Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Salvador Dali in museums and galleries all over the world – now you can see YOUR art on display during Larson Gallery’s pop-up Kids React! Art Show.

Here’s how to participate!

  1. Choose one of these prompts:
    1. Happiness and what it means to you (use 8.5”x11” paper only): Draw, paint or make a collage that expresses what happiness means to you. You could draw a picture of something, some place, or someone who makes you happy. You could make a collage full of your favorite things, or colors and shapes that bring you joy.
    2. Three Shapes (use 8.5”x11” paper only): Choose three shapes- you can draw these shapes or cut them out and glue them to paper, or trace three shapes og objecst onto a piece of paper. Once you have these three shapes on the paper, use your imagination to add to your composition. Do the shapes remind you of something? Can they be connected into a picture? See where your imagination takes you!
    3. The imaginary city (use paper of any size): Draw a building or collage one out of pieces of cut paper by gluing them together. This building can be a real building, a building you have seen in a movie or in a book, or it can be a building that you invent entirely from your imagination. If you draw the building on a piece of paper, please cut it out! The cut-out buildings will be added together into an imaginary city made up of buildings that hang together on the wall during the art exhibition.
  2. Drop off your artwork at Larson Gallery by November 22nd.
    • Be sure your name is on the back. If you want your work back after the show (ends December 20th, 2025), please pick it up before the end of January 2026. Work left after January may be recycled.
