Hecho con Amor

Oak Hollow Custom Framing and Gallery presents Hecho con Amor featuring Cindy Lemus.

Cindy Lemus’ paintings include skeletal figures which evoke the Catrinas of the Day of the Dead.

According to Oak Hollow Gallery: “Cindy Lemus is a first-generation Mexican American, a heritage that is reflected in her artwork. Her portraits have a blue twist; her figures are almost always blue skeletons, hence her art alias, Catrina Azul. Cindy is passionate about portraying the lives of Mexican people; the vibrant colors and textures distinguish her culture from others. Cindy has showcased work in galleries and museums throughout Washington state and hopes to empower youth and BIPOC through her work.”

The exhibition will be on view from September 29 – November 28, 2025.
