Photographer Peter Menzel and writer Faith D’Aluisio sat down to dinner with 30 families in 24 different countries. Stories, grocery lists, and photos of each family surrounded by a week’s worth of groceries give us snapshots to compare these families with ourselves. Hungry Planet: What the World Eats is based on the award-winning book by Peter Menzel and writer Faith D’Aluisio and is toured by COSI (Center of Science and Industry) in Columbus, Ohio. ©Peter Menzel www.menzelphoto.com

The partnership between Yakima Valley College and the Larson Gallery Guild creates an environment where ideas flourish.

The Larson Gallery Guild supports the mission of the Larson Gallery to foster curiosity and appreciation for the visual arts in our diverse community.

Your financial donations fund Larson Gallery Guild programming which includes staffing, publications and materials, special events, lectures, workshops, visiting artists, and jurors.

Yakima Valley College supports the Larson Gallery through the maintenance of the building, providing the director’s salary and benefits, technology, security, and work-study students.
