I am most happy when I can pick up a paintbrush and spend hours going where ever the canvas takes me. After years of traveling as a military wife, raising children, completing college degrees, and teaching, I am at last free to explore what I have always loved, creating. I am on an constant learning curve when it comes to art. Watercolor, alcohol ink, oils, acrylics, mixed media are all favorites, but at present am mostly working with mixed media. I am more of an abstract/expressionist painter, and love using collage materials, textures, and bright colors. Most of the time, I might have a project in mind, but once the paint starts flowing, anything might become the finished product. The true test is when looking at the picture, I feel satisfied.
