Alfred was born in Flint, Michigan and raised in the Yakima Valley. He attended Carroll High School and Central Washington University. He loved family gatherings and was an avid fisherman.
He worked most of his life with the disabled and spent many of those years at Yakima Valley School where he taught Art to children with special needs.
Celebrating its 63rd year at the Larson Gallery, the Central Washington Artists’ Exhibition showcases the most current and progressive work being produced in this region.
The juror for this exhibition is Devin Grimm, Koch Gallery Curator, Vashon Center for the Arts.

Your financial donations fund Larson Gallery Guild programming which includes staffing, publications and materials, special events, lectures, workshops, visiting artists, and jurors.
Yakima Valley College supports the Larson Gallery through the maintenance of the building, providing the director’s salary and benefits, technology, security, and work-study students.
