Yakima Art Festival

This year’s event will be held at the Yakima downtown Rotary Marketplace on June 28th from 11am – 4pm. Set up starts at 9am.

Participation is limited to 40 spaces, so apply early! Deadline for submissions is May 23, 2025, or when all spaces are filled, whichever occurs first. The registration page will close once the event spaces are full.

DoVA Department of Visual Arts

Exhibit open May 6 – 31

 
Join us on May 6th from 5-7 pm for the opening of our newest exhibition featuring a variety of media by students of Yakima Valley College’s Department of Visual Arts (DoVA). This annual exhibit presents the artwork created within the last year by DoVA students. Student work is chosen from Spring and Fall quarters of 2024 and Winter quarter of 2025 at Yakima Valley College. Classes include ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and design. A large selection of the students’ best work makes this one of the favorite exhibitions of the year and a wonderful opportunity to purchase art. The exhibition will be on display at Larson Gallery (1606 W Nob Hill Blvd., Yakima, WA).

VISIT

Where is Larson Gallery?

  • From I-82 take the Nob Hill Boulevard Exit (Exit #34). Turn to go west at the end of the freeway ramp (coming from Tri-Cities this would be a left turn onto Nob Hill, from Ellensburg it will be a right turn onto Nob Hill).
  • Stay on Nob Hill past South First Street and over the railroad overpass until you get to the light at South 16th Avenue.
  • Turn left on 16th, then right into the parking lot between Taco Bell and Larson Gallery.

The Larson Gallery Guild supports the mission of the Larson Gallery to foster curiosity and appreciation for the visual arts in our diverse community.

Your financial donations fund Larson Gallery Guild programming which includes staffing, publications and materials, special events, lectures, workshops, visiting artists, and jurors.

Yakima Valley College supports the Larson Gallery through the maintenance of the building, providing the director’s salary and benefits, technology, security, and work-study students.
